The gothic quarter is certainly the heart of Barcelonas old town.
Characteristic for this part of the town are the narrow midiaeval lanes with numerous shops, bars, restaurants, etc.
Here you can go for endless walks and discover new places.
Very worth seeing are the ‘Ramblas’, the gothic cathedral, parts of the old town wall, the theater ‘Liceu’, the market ‘Boqueria’, the ‘Plaza Catalunya’ and much more.

If you like the idea of staying in a bright, modern apartment but with the charm and character of the old town, then Apartment Gothic Quarter is the perfect choice.
This 45sqm apartment for up to 5 people has been recently renovated to provide visitors with a contemporary living space whilst maintaining the original features such as stone walls and wooden ceiling beams.
You will have plenty of natural light throughout the rooms, and good views of the pedestrian precinct outside.
The central location is ideal for exploring the city on foot and enjoying a long evening out. There are maps and brochures of all the top attractions, and a bus to the beach is only 2 minutes away.
There is a comfortable sofa and dining table for 4 people in the living/dining room. If you want to have a cozy night in you will find plenty of entertainment provided: 20´ TV, DVD player with films, HI FI with music CD´s and even some board games.
The main bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed (150x190) and the second one has 2 single beds (90x190) plus a wardrobe. Quality bed linen and towels are provided. If you are travelling with a child we will provide a cot - and don’t forget, up to 2 children under the age of 10 will stay for free!
Completely equipped kitchenette with washing machine, fridge, microwave and all kitchen implements. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and wash basin. Hair dryer and soap are provided.
Located on the 3rd floor of an typical old building of Barcelona without lift.
The decoration is of the highest standard and the whole apartment is equipped with everything you may need during your stay. A great place for the whole family or a romantic getaway for two – don´t miss it!
